7/29/2021 – On Wednesday, the U.S. Senate voted 67-32 to move forward with a bipartisan infrastructure plan, starting the process of debating and amending the bill. The $1.2 trillion plan would put $550 billion in new money into transportation, utilities, broadband, and other infrastructure around the U.S. Ten days ago, a group of mayors and business leaders from across Minnesota called on Congress to pass the bill.
