Biography


Jill Sims is a Principal at Park Street Public with over a decade of experience in government relations with a focus in relationship building, political strategy development, and driving concrete results. She has focused on issues related to economic development and workforce, commerce, labor, outdoor recreation, and environment.

Prior to joining Park Street Public, Jill served as Director of Government Relations for Hospitality Minnesota leading on key issues impacting businesses across Minnesota. Previously, Jill was a leader for advocacy efforts in 14 states through her role at the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA). During her time at NMMA, she championed outdoor recreation through her work with the Outdoor Recreation Roundtable. Jill’s career also includes federal experience working on Capitol Hill in Washington DC for Congressman Dave Reichert and Congressman Adrian Smith. 

Jill earned her B.A. in Political Science from Boston University and her M.A. in Public Policy and Leadership from the University of St. Thomas. In 2023, Jill was named a Top Lobbyist by the National Institute for Lobbying & Ethics. Jill currently serves on the Savage Economic Development Commission.
